Description

Advanced Dynamics is a software-based design method. It is a software program used to calculate the actual performance of a full suspension bike, considering not only the technical parameters and component behaviors affecting performance but also the factors introduced by the cyclist, such as their weight or the effect of pedal strokes on optimal performance.

Goals

Bike design and rear suspension optimization. Optimization and ideal placement of pivot points for most effective performance in terms of shock absorption and pedaling efficiency.

Results

Development of a new generation of Orbea full suspension bikes that should be leaders in their sectors: Rallon in the All Mountain/Enduro category, a multi-purpose bike with great rear absorption, 150mm travel and great pedaling efficiency. Occam to redefine the Trail category, with 120mm travel and the best balance between rear absorption and pedaling efficiency.
