Why did you choose a Diem?
I like the road, I like cycling, but I’m not a professional. So I need a bike that’ll let me see the world around me and enjoy the area I live in.
What do the flat handlebars offer?
I’m from Altea near Valencia, and the people here don’t know what a perfect day means until they get on a bike like this one and ride off down the coast road. And it’s so close – just half an hour’s ride and you start to feel the sea breeze and see the beach of El Albir and the little bays along the coast.
Are you a roadster?
Of course! I love the road but for me it’s a means, not an end. As I said, a ride down the coast road in the morning or when the sun’s just going down simply defies description. And with the Diem you’re in such a comfortable position, it’s like sitting on the sofa but in motion, haha…!
Why would you recommend this bike?
I’m no bike expert, I chose this one for its features, because it has a guarantee that saves any trouble, it’s really comfortable and it’s appearance is quite spectacular. When I retire I’ll trade my car in and my Diem will be my transport for getting round Altea.
