How do you feel after trying out the Ora frame?
I really, really like the Ora. You can tell it’s the result of several years of work and research carried out on it by the whole Orbea team. They’ve really taken care of it, polishing every little detail year by year, improving it millimetre by millimetre… until reaching today’s frame. You can tell it’s based on the Ordu, and that the Ordu’s evolution has been passed on to the Ora.
Do you think it’s a bike that’s born to run?
The sensation it gives me is a feeling of power. It’s perfect for flat or semi-flat time trials. I can’t wait to try it out for competition, as it’s a great runner. It’s a bike made for the flats and for fast racing.
What would you highlight about the Ora?
The balance between aerodynamics and stiffness is a real achievement. The bike runs perfectly as regards stability, and not one problem came up in all the testing we’ve done up to now. In the testing I did, we reached speeds of 39 kph over 180 km, which is not bad at all.
