Lisa Brennauer wins the overall title at the Ceratizit Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta on her Orca OMX!

2019-09-15

The German rider won her first World Tour title on an Orca OMX after maintaining her position as leader in the second stage of the competition. Bravo!

Lisa Brennauer debuted her Orca OMX, personalized with MyO, after a terrific performance in the individual time trial that opened the Ceratizit Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta, in which the German rider proved to be the fastest. In the second and third stages, she sealed her spot as leader to wear the leader’s maillot in the competition final.

In the second stage of the Spanish event, the WNT Rotor Pro Cycling Team went all out along the 98.6 kilometers of the stage held in the city of Madrid, permitting Lisa Brennauer to obtain an advantage in the intermediate sprints. And take advantage she did, winning the overall by 10” over Lucinda Brand. Pernille Mathiesen came in third.

The stage win was for the Australian rider Chloe Hosking, followed by Letizia Paternoster and Roxane Fournier. Lisa Brennauer worked hard on her Orca OMX to help Kirsten Wild in the sprint, who ultimately finished 8th in today’s stage.

With this victory, Lisa Brennauer comes away with her first World Tour title in her debut on the recently released Orca OMX.

Great job, Lisa and great job WNT Rotor Pro Cycling!
