"One week ago, I rode the Tokyo Test Event (2nd) and I did not know how I could properly recover", the rider said.
"In the end, I was not in my best shape but I did everything I can to follow the leaders. However I felt a lack of energy in the final sprint. Anyway, my season ends with a podium which is a great satisfaction. It was amazing to wear the French national champion jersey today. The atmosphere was incredible, especially with the crowd gathered in the Fournel hill and Bougnon pass. Now it is time for few days’ holiday before getting ready for the Olympic season. I would like to thank my team and my partners for this season", Koretzky said.
