It wasn’t that long ago when grand tours were won on aluminum bikes like the Aqua. Its affordability makes it attractive for the first time road rider or for those who seek performance on a budget. We use 7005 series aluminum for the frame, and we employ hydroforming techniques to manipulate the shapes of the tubes to optimize the strength and stiffness of the frame as well as to give it a unique custom appearance. Aqua is the perfect training partner.

You'll see that we don't list the bike weight. In reality we want you to go to your local Orbea dealer to feel the bike for yourself. Weight it against a similar bike at the shop. Throw a leg over it, and take it for a spin. Monocoque

The advantages of Monocoque technology are numerous. It gives us freedom of design, perfection of form, durability, and fatigue resistance.

    Monocoque guarantees a carbon structure with optimum performance and long term reliability, and it’s the only way we’ve ever done it. We mold the one-piece structures so that each tube is connected to the next, with continuous fibers through each critical juncture.           Our constant efforts to ensure that Orbea bicycles are of the highest quality enable us to offer you the best guarantee possible - the Orbea Lifetime Warranty. If your frame has a manufacturing defect, we will respond quickly to solve your problem. Your warranty is activated at www.orbea.com using the unique, non-transferable registration number you'll find on the down tube of your frame.

          Once the process is complete, your bike will automatically receive its lifetime warranty. We'll have a record of your bike information should it get stolen, and you'll be able to take part in our drawings and events. You'll also have access to the latest news about Orbea, its sponsored teams and riders, and new product development.
