The race-winning Alma re-invented in aluminum

The Alma 29 Hydro benefits from much of the same technology as our carbon fiber Alma hardtails. The key difference is that we build the Hydro with our Orbea hydroformed, triple butted alloy tubeset. You'll get big-wheeled performance similar to our Alma 29 Silver, but here you get all the fun for less cost. Another difference is measured on the scale. The Alma 29 Hydro gains a few grams over the Silver version, but if going fast for less is your number one priority, then you've found your bike.

You'll see that we don't list the bike weight. In reality we want you to go to your local Orbea dealer to feel the bike for yourself. Weight it against a similar bike at the shop. Throw a leg over it, and take it for a spin. There are so many deciding factors to consider when buying a new bike – style, finish, material, ride quality, build, color, cost – and weight is only one of them. And while light is nice, it is not wise to decide solely on grams or pounds. Let the ride decide!

      Our constant efforts to ensure that Orbea bicycles are of the highest quality enable us to offer you the best guarantee possible - the Orbea Lifetime Warranty. If your frame has a manufacturing defect, we will respond quickly to solve your problem. Your warranty is activated at www.orbea.com using the unique, non-transferable registration number you'll find on the down tube of your frame.

      Once the process is complete, your bike will automatically receive its lifetime warranty. We'll have a record of your bike information should it get stolen, and you'll be able to take part in our drawings and events. You'll also have access to the latest news about Orbea, its sponsored teams and riders, and new product development.
