Hannah Rae wins ITU Cross Worlds age-groupers!

LUNA Pro Team's developmental athlete Hannah Rae Finchamp won the 18-19 year old category at ITU Cross World Championships in Zittau, Germany.
Hannah Rae Finchamp won the world (18-19 year old) age-group/amateur title at the ITU Cross Triathlon Worlds held in Zittau, Germany, and was second overall in the amateurs. The ITU (International Triathlon Union) world championships attracted athletes from all over the world for an epic few hours of off road racing.
USAT Off-Road Triathlete of the Year!
Hannah recently earned the USAT Off-Road Triathlete of the Year Award. USA Triathlon elects the 2013 Off-Road Triathletes of the Year, honoring athletes for outstanding performances on challenging courses featuring an open water swim, mountain bike and a trail run.
The off-road triathlon discipline continues to gain popularity, with the International Triathlon Union officially recognizing the format as a world championship event in 2011. The winners were selected by USA Triathlon’s Age Group Committee.
“This award was extremely exciting to me (not just because I was the recipient) but because this was the first year USAT honored off-road triathlon, which means that USAT is supporting and giving power to off-road triathlons!”, said Hannah.
