The third Orbea Pax Avant is bound to be a great celebration. On 18 july we will be following in the footsteps of the Tour de France, riding on the same roads as The Grande Boucle that week. Will you miss it?
Meet the Pyrenees on 18 July and have an epic adventure! This year, the Orbea Pax Avant will certainly be unique, as it will take place only a few days after the Tour de France hits the same roads.
Unfolding over 205km or 145km, the event promises to be a fight with yourself. A few hours after the Tour’s yellow jersey tries to gain the crest of La Pierre Saint Martin, you will be doing the same, fighting the same battle.
Nearly 2000 cycle tourers went out to conquer the Pyrenees last year, twice as many as in the previous edition. This made us really happy. If you are a cycling enthusiast who wants to make nature and the road your home, mark the Orbea Pax Avant on your cycle touring calendar.

But there is more: Orbea is turning 175 this year, and we are celebrating our birthday in a very special way. We will take care of everything so that you can focus on the huge challenge presented by the massive Pyrenees. We will be providing mechanical assistance, medical assistance, feeding services, timing, physiotherapy, photos and videos... We have thought of every detail!
