The Foundation for the Cultivation of Sport (FCS) is pleased to announce new co-title sponsors and exciting roster changes for the 2015 season.  The Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau (Dallas CVB) has made a three-year commitment to support the ladies of FCS, and the team will kick off the partnership at a launch party and team ride in Dallas Feb. 6-9. The new team name, Visit Dallas Cycling, highlights Dallas’ commitment to wellness and its growing reputation as an active, outdoor city.

“We’re thrilled to support the women’s riding community with the creation of Visit Dallas Cycling,” said Dallas CVB President Phillip Jones, a fitness enthusiast and triathlete. “Dallas is full of great green space and bike trails, and I can’t wait to cheer the riders on as they represent the city.”

The nine-person 2015 team is led by returning rider and former Time Trial World Champion Amber Neben. Also returning are Anna Sanders, Mia Manganello and Rachel Byus. Adding international flair to the roster, current Brazilian National Champion Flavia Oliveira and former multi-time Irish National Champion Olivia Dillion have joined the team. Anna Grace Christiansen and Kathryn Hunter, who were guest riders in 2014, are also now permanent team members. Beth Ann Orton joins the team after coming off of a strong cyclocross season culminating at the US National Championships.

Doug Clark and Lee Whaley will continue to serve as co-chairmen of Visit Dallas Cycling p/b Noise4Good, while Rachel Byus returns to manage the team and Scott Warren returns as the Sports Director.

“Each rider on this team is an accomplished racer. I look forward to seeing the team race together. With great teamwork we’ll be competitive in any race we enter,” said Scott Warren.

The team’s first race of the season will be in Phoenix, Arizona, at The Valley of the Sun Stage Race. The team will race throughout the year concentrating on USA Cycling’s National Racing Calendar.

In addition to the Dallas CVB, Noise4Good will be a co-sponsor for the 2015 race season. Mr. Restore is a returning as a key sponsor along with Orbea Bicycles.
