Albert Moreno, Andrew Starykowicz lay eyes on Canada

2014-09-02

The two members of Orbea Orca Triathlon Team prepare for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Mont-Tremblant

Albert Moreno and Andrew Starykowicz are already focusing on their important upcoming event: the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, to be held on 7 September. It’s Moreno’s top goal this season.

Moreno is training hard. ‘Monday and Tuesday last week were really easy but the rest of the week wasn’t. I had good feelings, though, and I’m good about going to Canada on Tuesday. I’m happy because I’m in my best possible shape for the race. I did everything I had to do,’ said the Catalan triathlete.

As for Starykowicz, he likes his brand-new Ordu bike, and even though his big challenge is the race in Kona, he will take the Canadian event as a high-level test.

The race at Mont-Tremblant is one of the most popular and successful of the 70.3 circuit, partly because it runs across beautiful landscapes – Lake Tremblant, the Laurentian mountains and the pedestrian village, which has a population of around 10,000.
