Luna Pro Team land top spots in Colorado Springs

The ladies of Luna Pro Team were among the fastest in the US, with Katerina Nash winning the final round of the US XC Pro Tour Series
Luna Pro Team seem to be unbeatable. In the final round of the US XC Pro Tour Series, the Luna girls put on a great show to land first, second and fourth. Katerina Nash, who cycled in fantastic shape, won one more time in the US after claiming victory in Bonelli Park, Mellow Johnny’s and Missoula. Georgia Gould finished second, while Catharine Pendrel was fourth. Not only did Nash win the race, but she donned in the Cup title belt as well.
Nash won four out of the five rounds of the US XC Pro Tour Series, the last one held today in Colorado Springs. Soon after the gun, Pendrel and Nash of Luna Pro Team led the field up the first climb, fighting for the lead. Emily Batty tried hard to catch them but she could only follow them.
Lap two saw Georgia Gould attack hard to place herself second behind Nash. Despite dropping back on lap four, Gould wouldn’t stop attacking throughout the circuit until the race turned to a duel between the two teammates. Batty was strong but not enough to clear past the two Luna girls who competed for first and second places. In the end, the Czech rider won gold, Gould was silver and Batty finished three seconds earlier than Pendrel, spoiling the party of an all-Luna Pro Team podium.
