Catharine Pendrel, Georgia Gould, Katerina Nash, Maghalie Rochette to defend Luna Pro Team colours at MTB World Championships in Norway
Luna Pro Team are facing one of the greatest challenges of the season this weekend: the UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships being held in Hafjell.
Catharine Pendrel, Georgia Gould, Katerina Nash and Maghalie Rochette are ready for competing in Norway. Catharine is travelling as the current World Cup second overall, knowing that she has to be really focused on the course in Hafjell, with a number of ‘very fast’ climbs and descents. She said she would try to make things difficult for her rivals. Georgia will try and get her own back after finishing 22nd in Méribel, which put her 15th overall in the World Cup. To do better in Norway, she has been training actively these days.
Champion of the US XC Pro Tour Series and third in Mont Sainte-Anne, Katerina will resort to her experience to take a nice spot in Norway, while Maghalie is coming with renewed self-confidence after being the best Canadian U23 biker in Méribel, where she was 14th overall.
