Victor Koretzky: “Still great things to do"

3rd place in XCC
11th in XCO
15th place overall

“My weekend results really fulfilled me. It began perfectly well with XCC race. I am truly satisfied to have finished among the leaders in this tactical race.

It was the first time I had beaten Nino (Schurter) during the sprint, which was quite enjoyable. To top it all off, it was my first podium ever with KMC-EKOI-ORBEA team in XCC.

Then, I started well Sunday’s race thank to my leading position on the starting line. The crowd was crazy and I tried to keep a cool head. It is always a pleasure to ride in my country.

My final result is not as good as the one in Vallnord (9th) but I feel in great shape! Summer is not over yet, there are still great things to do. Starting with next week French National Championships in l’Alpe d’Huez.”
