Start Small. Ride Big.

It starts small. A spark of passion that now matches yours. Their first trail. The hill that once felt impossible to them. You look back to check they’re behind you, until one day you no longer need to. Now you’re riding side by side, chasing the same lines and sharing new adventures. And you realise this was never just about the ride. It was about how challenge and curiosity slowly became character and confidence.

Kimu is designed for young riders ready for bigger adventures. Lightweight construction, larger wheels, and scaled MTB geometry create a bike that feels stable, capable, and ready to explore further.

Natural Handling

Kimu’s geometry is scaled specifically for growing riders, with natural, balanced riding positions that feel stable and easy to manage as kids move into bigger bikes.

Scaled MTB Geometry

With stack, reach, and proportions adapted to each wheel size, Kimu offers riders natural, balanced riding positions. Intentional angles help keep the front end calm and predictable, while a centered position supports confident handling without demanding aggressive input or advanced technique.

Get Riding Sooner

A low bottom bracket, short seat tube, and low standover height allow riders to benefit from larger wheel sizes without the bike feeling oversized or difficult to manage. This thoughtful geometry makes it possible to access the added stability and smooth rolling of bigger wheels earlier.

Big Wheel Concept

The wheels are proportionately larger, just like 29-inch wheels on an adult bike. This creates more momentum and stability, helping riders carry speed smoothly and with confidence. Traction is increased, too, empowering riders to expand their skills and gravitate towards more technical riding.

Smoother Over Obstacles

Big wheels roll more easily over trail features, making obstacles feel smaller and easier to manage.

Parts Made for Kids

Components are selected to keep things easy as riders begin to use more advanced components and add complexity to their riding.

Short-Reach Hydraulic Disc Brakes

Hydraulic disc brakes deliver strong, reliable stopping with light input. Short-reach levers require less force to actuate, making braking easier for small hands.
Imagen de fondo

Short-Travel Shifter with Lever Extender

A short-travel shifter requires less movement to change gears, making shifting more accessible for smaller hands. A brightly colored lever extender improves reach and visibility, so the shifter is easy to identify and operate as they learn to manage gears for the first time.

Low Pressure OC MC22 Dropper

Standard droppers require significant body weight to compress, making them difficult for young riders to use. The MC22 uses lower internal pressure for easy activation and saddle height control. It follows our grow-with-the-rider philosophy, with the possibility to lengthen for proper function and fit over time.

Grow Together Components

Grow Together components are practical solutions that anticipate real growth and adapt as kids develop in both size and skill.

Growing Stem

Kimu features a stem that can be lengthened from 40 to 55 mm using an easily installable spacer. This extends the usable life of the bike and helps maintain a proper fit as riders grow.

Growing Seatpost

The OC MC22 Dropper seatpost can be lengthened as the rider grows, maintaining proper function and fit over time. Removing the incorporated bushings results in an additional 25mm.

Ready for the Rough Stuff

Kimu is made to both enable and withstand everything that comes along with real riding. Equipped with components that are ready to do the job and protection that will hold up to everything a rider can put it through.
Imagen de fondo

High Performance Components

As riding evolves and terrain becomes more varied, the bike needs to keep up. Kimu uses capable, durable components designed to work reliably as riders grow and increase their abilities.
Imagen de fondo

High-Performance Air Fork

Air suspension forks provide controlled, responsive support on rougher trails. They improve comfort and front-end traction, helping riders stay composed as terrain becomes more technical.
Imagen de fondo

Short-Cage Derailleurs

Short derailleur cages stay tucked in close to the bike, increasing ground clearance and reducing exposure to impacts. This makes them less vulnerable to hits or misalignment, especially during everyday falls or careless handling.

Sturdy construction and reliable components ensure it’s not just a bike for today. It’s one that can be handed down, creating new adventures for the next young rider.
