A good start to the European Road Cycling Championships
Lisa Brennauer, silver medalist for Germany in the mixed team relay time trial.
The first day of the European Championships brought good news for WNT-Rotor Pro Cycling rider Lisa Brennauer.
The German rider came away with a silver medal in the mixed team relay time trial, in which the national teams competed against one another with six members per squad (three women and three men).
The victory in this competition went to the Netherlands, which squeaked out an advantage of barely 15'' over Brennauer's squad. The bronze went to Italy, which crossed the finish line 1' 25'’ down.
Both Brennauer and her WNT-Rotor teammate, Dutch rider Kirsten Wild, have good chances in the Elite race, which will be held this Saturday.
