Nacer Bouhanni out to win the Milan-San Remo!
Team Cofidis is tackling the Classicissima with the goal of helping Nacer Bouhanni earn a victory in the race that the team has set as its first major goal of the season.
Sixth in 2015, fourth last year... Victory in 2017? Even though Nacer has not been at his best during the start to this season, the Milan-San Remo is special: it is the race that Nacer has always had his eye on, and it is his first big goal for this season. His feisty character also means that no one dares rule him out as the rider who will raise his arms in victory next Saturday on Vía Roma.
To help him achieve this difficult challenge, Nacer Bouhanni will be supported by Dimitri Claeys, Cyril Lemoine, Florian Senechal, Julien Simon, Kenneth Vanbilsen, and of course, his pacemakers Christophe Laporte and Geoffrey Soupe.
The Milan-San Remo is the first and longest of the great classics: 291 kilometers in which includes the legendary ascents to Turchino, Capos, Cipressa, and only 9 short kilometers from the finish line, Poggio.
