Dani Molina is the new world duathlon champion!

2019-04-28

The athlete has added this new title to his honors during the World Duathlon Championship held in Pontevedra (Spain).Great job, Dani!

In 2017, he was world, European and Spanish triathlon champion. In 2018, he repeated the triple crown and now he’s started off 2019 with a new title by winning the World Duathlon Championship held yesterday in Pontevedra (Spain). This is definitely another great example of what Dani Molina is capable of!

The athlete led the race from the very beginning in the PTS3 category, completing the race consisting of 5 km running, 20 km pedaling on his Ordu and another 2.5 km running in a total time of 1 hour, 7 minutes and 21 seconds.

“I am very happy because we had barely prepared for this race. Today I felt very good; my coach told me that I was going to feel good, and it was true,” said Dani Molina after crossing the finish line.

“Even though the year started with two months off as the result of an injury, I didn’t expect to feel this way at this stage of the season. I feel very good running, very good swimming and very good on the bike. Now I’ll start preparing for the triathlons right away. I think that it could be a great season, although it’s always difficult, because the rivals are very well prepared,” he concluded.

Congratulations on this new title!
