The constant effort we make every day to produce the highest quality bicycles enables us to offer the following warranty and coverage conditions:

ORBEA Lifetime Warranty.

Orbea is pleased to offer you an lifetime warranty once your limited warranty term has ended, according to the conditions described below.


  • To complement the Legal Warranty, ORBEA offers all its users Orbea's Lifetime Warranty, which is completely voluntary and free of charge. It consists of a lifetime warranty with no time limitations that covers all frames and rigid forks assembled on our bicycles against breaking and/or cracks.
  • Orbea's Lifetime Warranty will also extend coverage against paint, varnish and corrosion defects on all frames and rigid forks for 1 additional year after the end of the legal warranty (in other words, for up to 3 years after the purchase of the product by the user).
  • When filing a claim under Orbea's Lifetime Warranty, the buyer shall have the right to the repair and/or replacement of any broken or cracked frames and/or rigid forks.


  • This warranty will only be valid for the original buyer of the product, who must have completed the online registration form for the bicycle or frame within 30 days of having purchased the product. This warranty may not, therefore, be transferred to other parties who subsequently acquire the materials covered by the warranty, as they are not the original buyer. When filing a claim under this warranty, the user must provide a copy of the purchase document (sales invoice) for the bicycle to ORBEA or the dealer.
  • The warranty does not apply in any case to broken or cracked parts derived from negligent use of the bicycle, the mounting of other non-original accessories not supplied or mounted by the factory, or any inappropriate manipulation or maintenance operations by the user or by any third party on their behalf.
  • The user must maintain the purchased product in good condition for use, according to the instructions and recommendations provided in the instruction booklet accompanying the bicycle, and ORBEA is entitled to reject any claims that are the direct result of poor product maintenance by the user.
  • Due to the inherent hazard associated with using a bicycle on either roads or trails, and the physical risk derived from its use, this warranty refers only to the replacement of affected components and does not cover personal injury in any case that might derive directly or indirectly from their malfunction during use. In case of a traffic accident, regardless of the direct cause, Orbea's warranty shall be considered completely null and void.


  • In order to process any claim in relation with this warranty, the user must proceed to the point of sale where he/she purchased the product, so the dealer can process the legal warranty. If it is not possible to visit said dealer, or this is overly burdensome for the user, he/she may visit the nearest official ORBEA dealer to file the claim, or contact ORBEA directly by clicking on the following link, in order to receive the corresponding instructions to process the warranty claim. When filing a claim under this warranty, the user must provide a copy of the purchase document (sales invoice) for the bicycle to ORBEA or the dealer.
  • If repairs are not possible, ORBEA will replace the non-conforming product with another of similar characteristics, and if it is not possible to do so according to these terms, ORBEA may opt to deliver another product to the user with the same or better quality and features, from those available in the ORBEA range during the year in which the warranty claim is filed, or to pay the user an amount proportional to the value of the non-conforming product, equivalent to the value of the product at the time the claim is filed.
  • If the frame is replaced by another product of equal or better quality and features, from those available in the ORBEA range during the year in which the warranty claim is filed, this warranty will not cover in any aspect the replacement of any component installed on the original bicycle that is incompatible with the product provided by ORBEA, and the user will be responsible for the cost of any type of parts, accessories and/or components that are required for its final assembly.
  • If it is necessary to send the product to ORBEA's facilities, ORBEA will cover the transport costs as long as the warranty claim has been filed with the same dealer from whom the product was purchased. ORBEA reserves the right to hold the user responsible for these transport costs and those associated with returning the product if the user decides to file the warranty claim with a dealer other than the one from whom the bicycle was purchased or with ORBEA directly, or if the warranty does not cover the claim made by the user.
  • The user must also pay, in all cases, the cost of the labor required to disassemble and then reassemble the frame and/or fork needing repair or replacement if ORBEA is requested to perform this work. Likewise, if an official dealer is requested to provide these services, the user will be responsible for the cost of these tasks.
  • This warranty is subject to the decision of our technicians with regard to the nature of the product non-conformity, after having studied the part in question.

In the case of a broken or cracked frame resulting from external factors not related to manufacturing defects, we offer a discount on a new, similar frame, according to the following conditions:

  • 0-12 months after the purchase date: 50% discount on the RRP.
  • 13-24 months after the purchase date: 40 % discount on the RRP.
  • 25-36 months after the purchase date: 30% discount on the RRP.

This scheme includes all carbon fibre frames OME, OMP, OMR and OMX.

  • The bicycle must be registered within one month of the date of purchase.
  • Presentation of the invoice is required in order to receive service.
  • The purchase option pertains to a frame that is similar or equivalent to the broken frame.
  • The user is responsible for the labor costs associated with the assembly of the frame or fork on the bicycle.
  • The purchase option will be made available after the broken frame has been returned.
  • Orbea will be responsible for transporting the frame. If the dealer is not the original dealer, Orbea reserves the right not to cover transport costs.
  • Peripheral components are not included. In each individual case, Orbea will extend a sales offer for the required peripheral components.
