Double victory for the Orbea Enduro Team!
Vid Persak was the fastest in the third round of the European Series and Gabriel Torralba is the Spanish under-23 champion for the fifth time in a row. It was a good weekend for the Orbea Enduro Team!
This weekend, two bikers on the Orbea Enduro Team were winners in two different competitions held in Slovenia and Spain. The first was part of the European enduro circuit, the third round of which was held on the same course as last year’s Enduro World Series. The second competition was the Spanish Enduro Championship, with more than 300 riders participating.
Vid Persak and Gabriel Torralba left their marks on both competitions, in which they climbed to the top spot on the podium. Vid had already recorded a good performance, earning 51st place last year in the Enduro World Series, in which he competed against the world’s best enduro riders.
Torralba, in turn, earned his title for the fifth time in a row. As a matter of fact, in 2017, he also came away with the overall title.
Next week both riders will join the rest of the Orbea Enduro Team in the fourth round of the Enduro World Series, the top enduro competition on the planet, which is being held in Italy.
Sandra Jordà, Spanish runner-up
