Did you know that you can design the bike of your dreams with our online MyO tool? Colors, assembly, ergonomics: create a bike as unique as you are. And if you take part in the Orbea Instagram Challenge 2, you could win one!
After the first edition with more than 6,000 entries, the Orbea Instagram Challenge is back. And it has a change or two.
Have you fantasized about one of our bikes with the help of MyO? Choose from your favorite bike — the Oiz, Orca, Rallon, Orca Aero, Terra, Gain, Alma or Avant — and take part in the challenge. We will announce the winning design, chosen by the community, on February 28. The winner will receive the bike they have created.
January 31-February 20
1) Design the MyO bike of your dreams on our personalization tool and save the design on your device. (Take a screenshot to do this.) You can use any of the Orbea models available on the MyO platform: Orca, Oiz, Orca Aero, Rallon, Alma, Gain All Road, Terra, Avant, Ordu and Gain Road.
2) Complete your information on the promotion website and attach your design.
3) Follow us on our Instagram account.
You have until February 20 to take part in this first round of the #OrbeaInstagramChallenge.
Out of all the designs, only 16 will advance to round two. But new for this year, based on your suggestions, is that only 8 of the 16 designs will be chosen by a panel of guest judges that we’ll announce soon. The remaining 8 will be chosen by popular vote. On February 22 at 12:00 pm (CET), we will announce in this blog and on our social networks (Instagram and Facebook) the 16 designs that will go on to the grand finale.
The 16 selected designs will face off in a head-to-head elimination. One design against another. Like last year, the elimination rounds will be held as a survey on our Instagram Stories. The design that gets the most votes on the survey goes on to the next round. The dates and times of each round are as follows:
February 25 at 12:00 pm (CET) → Round of sixteen
February 26 at 12:00 pm (CET) → Quarter finals
February 27 at 12:00 pm (CET) → Semifinals
February 28 at 12:00 pm (CET) → Final
Remember: only the bikes with the most votes will make it to the next round!
