Åsa Lundström finishes eighth in the best Hawaii Ironman of her career

In her third time at the competition, the Orbea triathlete met and exceeded her goal of being among the ten best in the world's most demanding Ironman.
17th in 2014, 11th in 2015 and 8th in 2016, with a time of 9.22:59, she also marked her best time ever in Kona. Åsa Lundström has confirmed her spectacular progress by completing an excellent race in which she set a new personal best in the marathon (the fourth best time of all the triathletes), with a partial time of 03:06:42.
Åsa, who competed on her new custom Ordu, performed at a very high level in the cycling segment, recording the seventh best time: 5:09:46.
Congratulations, Åsa! This competition has been a real demonstration of your capacity for effort and your fighting spirit.
