The Détour France: the Tour de France in less than 10 days

2016-06-08

Friday 1 July, the day before the start of the official race, Ghislain Maréchal will rush from Mont Saint-Michel for this incredible challenge.

The 2015 Tour de France was crushed from the first mountain stage. While discussing this performance, listening to the comments that judged the tour inhuman, improbable ... An idea came to light. There was no better place than the roads of the Tour de France to stage my next challenge: LE DETOUR FRANCE.

After X Challenge in 2014, and swimming across the English Channel 2015, I’m back on the saddle for a journey of 3519 km between plains and mountains.
The goal is: finish in less than 10 days to remain as much as possible to the official route on roads open to traffic. All transfers between the arrival and departure of each stage will be completed by car. I will be assisted by a team of 6 wonderfully amazing magnificent and tremendous persons who will take care of all the logistics.

The cause of ill children is a cause that’s important for me. It gives me an extra source of motivation. Do not hesitate to support our projects.
