Just-Right Battery

Developing our own batteries allows us to size them precisely for Rise, providing the energy needed for meaningful range without unnecessary weight. The result is 1960g for 420Wh battery, 2880g for 630Wh battery, and 1050g for the Range Extender.

This means around 1.9kg in battery weight savings compared to typical batteries delivering the same range on full-power eMTBs.

Best Torque To Weight Ratio

Weighing just 2.3 kg and delivering up to 100 Nm of torque, Shimano’s new motor offers more Nm per gram than ever. That means plenty of torque for technical climbs while keeping system weight low.

Light and clean cockpit

Concentric Boost is our proprietary suspension design, featuring a pivot concentric with the rear axle. The design also reduces the number of components required, creating a lighter, stiffer, and more reliable system with fewer parts to maintain.

The Importance Of Curves

RS firmware accentuates the curve in the motor's power delivery. That means that the assistance is lower when you are doing less effort, saving range and not dominating the riding experience. As your effort ramps up, the motor responds powerfully and naturally, giving more assistance just as you need it.

Faster and More Connected

Reactivity defines how quickly the motor responds to rider input. A more reactive motor feels more immediate and keeps the rider closely connected to the trail. Working with Shimano, we tuned the motor firmware to achieve the response speed that best complements Rise’s natural, connected ride feel.

The Importance of Torque

On singletrack, pedalling cadence naturally drops, making the motor’s torque limit a key factor in how assistance feels. High torque provides the support needed at these lower cadences to maintain momentum and clear obstacles. With up to 100 Nm of torque, Rise responds powerfully when the trail demands it.

Shimano's new motor, combined with our RS firmware, delivers the torque needed for technical climbs with smooth, natural assistance. Its light weight and compact form factor allow us to keep weight low and central, amplifying the agile handling that defines Rise.

To make it possible, we looked beyond cycling and turned to optoelectronic technology. Using a Time-of-Flight sensor, the system knows exactly where the post is in its travel at all times. This breakthrough, protected by patent, enables entirely new functionality, what we call Smart Features. The result is one of the most advanced, lightweight, and reliable droppers ever built.

“Smart” dropper Features

The electronic remote operates just like a traditional remote, you push it and can set the post to any height you want. Using a Time of Flight sensor opens up new functions, what we are calling our smart features.

Partial Drop. With a double click

Drops the saddle by 20%, lowering your center of gravity for better control on steep, technical sections. The amount of drop is fully programmable via the RS-App.

Ready-To-Drop. Press once and drop when you are ready

A short press on the lever activates the dropper, ready to be dropped whenever is convenient. That way you can keep your hands on the bars when things get gnarly.

The new RS control system combines e-bike controls, ride information, and smart dropper functionality into a single ecosystem, linked by our communication system and controlled by a compact, and intuitive remote.
